RFEP is a public body entitled of organize, administrate and rule all the sports that use the skates in Spain.

Inside the RFEP are clustered the other skates autonomous federations, sport clubs, players, referees and trainers of all the skates specialities.

RFEP is a member of “Fédération Internationale de Roller Sports (FIRS)” and “Confederatión Européenne de Roller Skating (CERS)” for witch is the representative in Spain.

Under the control of “Consejo Superior de Deportes CSD (Higher council of sport) ” RFEP executes the following functions:

​

• To rule and organize the official activities and games at national level;

• To organize the official international games to be held in Spain;

• To develop and execute the preparation planes for athletes as well as the selection of the athletes to form the national teams  taking part in international competitions;

• To develop together with the autonomous federations the dissemination of the skates specialities all over the national territory.
