Club Patines Alcala Hockey

We received today a very good news from Fabio Carosi: our Spanish partner RFEP choose the club in charge to develope the technical actions of the project:mClub Patìnes Alcalà Hockey  (http://clubpatinalcalahockey.blogspot.it/).

We give our welcome to the new actor in the field.

Kick off meeting

We would like to disseminate SKATE in the best possible way and we will start to do that from the very beginning.

In order to do that we organized a twelve team tournament (under 13 and under 15) with clubs from all over Italy from April 22th to 25th. Inside the tournament, April 25th,  there will be the SKATE kick off meeting.

Liceo Linguistico joined SKATE

As we alrady did with the "COeSO" public body, we found another way to expand SKATE in the town gaining a very useful service for the project.

Istituto Linguistico Rosmini is a public school in Grosseto, they teach languages.
We signed an agreement with them with the aim to put the students in a real work environment doing what they are studying for. They will translate our official documents in the languages they are learning, particularly the final release of the guide that we have to translate in all the languages we will be able to use.
We would like to thank the teachers and the students of the Istituto Rosmini for their valuable cooperation.

Comune di Grosseto patronage

We gained the patronage of the Grosseto Municipality on the SKATE project.
Fabrizio Rossi, Council member of the Grosseto Municipality, endorsed our request within the city council that granted us such a privilege. We have to thank him and all the Council members for trusting us and our project.

COeSO SDS joined SKATE

This public body is a consortium made up of 6 municipalities of the Grosseto area (Grosseto, Campagnatico, Castiglione della Pescaia, Civitella Paganico, Roccastrada, Scansano) and the local healthcare ASL 9.
The consortium is in charge of managing the health services and social security in the territory.
COeSO will be more then a stakeholder, they agree to help us in developping one of SKATE most interesting actions: submitting some children with poor learnig skills to a one year training and measure the benefits they will have.

Local kick off meeting in Grosseto

After the general Kick off meeting in Bruxelles, the EC requires each project's partner to organize a local event of the same kind.
We are planning our event to be held in Grosseto on 25th April 2017, hopefully there will be rappresentatives of all our partners so we will have the opportunity to explain to our citizens the project relevance and the reputations of the people involved. 

Kick off meeting in Bruxelles

The project leader attended the Kick off meeting in Bruxelles.
The meeting was organized by the European Community with the aim of clarifying all the contractual details and, particularly, the way to take into account all the expenditures done. 
It was a fruitful time and we aslo had the opportunity to contact other project leaders involved in activities akin the ones we are ready to develop.

Medical team.

Waiting for the official start of our project, four people joined the staff in Grosseto.

We succeed to set up a medical team, it will be in charge to develop a scientific research on the benefit of skating to face low learning ability.
